Kambo Microdose Workshop in Nosara, Costa Rica
A Gentle Way to Meet the Frog Medicine
On Saturday, September 6th, from 10:30 am – 1:00 pm at Casa Pacifico, I will be co-facilitating a Kambo Microdose Therapeutic Workshop.
This experience is designed for those who feel called to work with Kambo in a gentle, trauma-informed, and therapeutic setting. Unlike a traditional full-dose Kambo ceremony, microdosing allows you to receive the benefits of the medicine without the intense purging process. It is an opportunity to meet the frog medicine in a safe, supportive way — guided with care and intention.
What is Kambo?
Kambo is a secretion from the Amazonian Giant Green Monkey Tree Frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor), used for centuries by the Matses and other tribes of the Amazon. Traditionally, it was applied to hunters to increase stamina, sharpen the senses, and clear negative energy (called panema).
Modern science has revealed that Kambo contains a variety of bioactive peptides, which interact with the body’s immune, endocrine, and nervous systems. Research suggests these peptides may help:
Stimulate the immune system
Reduce inflammation
Support the gut microbiome
Influence mood and cognitive function
Promote overall resilience and balance
Kambo is not a hallucinogen. Instead, it works physically and energetically through a short but powerful detox process.
Why Microdosing Kambo?
While a traditional Kambo ceremony involves larger doses and purging, microdosing provides a gentler entry point. This makes it especially supportive for:
People new to Kambo who want a safe introduction
Those curious about the medicine but hesitant about purging
Participants managing chronic health conditions, including autoimmune imbalances, Lyme, Epstein-Barr, herpes, candida, or digestive issues
Experienced participants wanting to reconnect with the medicine in a lighter way
Benefits of Microdosing
Increased energy, clarity, and focus
Support for gut health and the microbiome
A sense of lightness and emotional release
Strengthened resilience and connection to nature
Subtle alignment of body, mind, and spirit
Who This Workshop is For
This microdose workshop is open to:
Beginners who have never sat with the medicine before
Experienced participants who want to reconnect in a softer way
Seekers of balance ready to release heaviness and reset
Community-minded individuals who wish to share in ceremony, intention-setting, and integration
Those curious about Kambo and ready to meet the medicine with respect and curiosity
What to Expect in the Workshop
During this 2.5-hour session, we will guide you through a safe, respectful, and intentional process:
Opening & Smudging – We begin with cleansing, prayer, and creating a sacred container.
Education & Sharing – Learn about the history, benefits, and safe application of Kambo. We’ll also share about ethical harvesting and traditions.
Intention Setting – Each participant sets a personal intention for their session.
Microdose Application – A small, gentle dose of Kambo is applied with care and reverence.
Supportive Practices – Sound healing, relaxation, and guidance from both facilitators.
Integration & Nourishment – Space for rest, reflection, and grounding with pipa (fresh coconut water) and fruit.
Unlike a full-dose ceremony, you will most likely not experience intense purging. Instead, you may feel subtle shifts — heightened awareness, energetic release, emotional clarity, and a sense of lightness.
